Welcome

The Rotary Club of Healdsburg Sunrise was chartered on April 1, 2009.  We have doubled our membership since that time and have initiated many wonderful programs benefiting the Healdsburg Community:

The Teacher Recognition Breakfast honors four outstanding teachers of the Healdsburg Unified School District.  The honorees are each awarded $500., as well as citations presented by city, county and state officials. 

The Choices Program supports the efforts to encourage children to stay in school.  It is an "Eye-Opener" and is presented by members in various classrooms targeting junior high aged students.

The Wonder League is a program developed to bring baseball to children with special needs.  It provides the opportunity to play with "buddies" and family members while parents can just sit back and enjoy seeing their children having lots of fun.

The Rotary Club of Healdsburg Sunrise Scholarship Awards honors three areas of excellence at Healdsburg High School: the Rotary Ideals Scholarship. 

The Annual Fourth of July Kids' Parade in the Plaza is gaining in attendance and enthusiasm with over 160 children participating.  This event gives our community the traditional festivity that was lacking and the response has been tremendous.  It is definitely something to build on and look forward to. 

The Duck Dash,  a classic community effort.  Many businesses donate sponsorships, gifts, prizes and talent to bring about the kind of support our programs require. 

No doubt with the support of our amazing community we will grow these fabulous programs that continue to support the people of Healdsburg and Sonoma County.
