GSE team from Japan visits Sunrise Rotary Meeting
GROUP STUDY EXCHANGE FROM JAPAN’S
RI DISTRICT 2620 HOSTED BY RI DISTRICT 5130Henk Peeters, past president of the Healdsburg Noon Club and Deputy District Governor of District 5130 introduced the members of the Group Study Exchange. Mr. Makoto Sone the Team Leader spoke first. He talked a little about himself and mentioned the earthquake and resultant tsunami that Japan has experienced and thanked the United States for all the donations sent to help Japan. At the end of their presentations the group sang a song for the Sunrise club members that called for being positive in difficult times.
President Elect Susan Jones presented Policeman Mas with uniform patches from the Healdsburg Police Department. Mas saluted her and she saluted in return.
